A STORY, A BEGINNING.
In early 2020 right when the pandemic started my daughter arrived - Ayla.
I wanted to mark the day differently. With something that would mature alongside her and enjoy as a family as she grows up. Maybe to bottle at her wedding or maybe to help pay for her university one day I honestly don't know yet.
I flew to Aberdeen on my own, walked into our bonded warehouse, and chose a single cask. I had her name stencilled on the end in simple white paint.
Today she is six. Every summer when we visit Scotland she insists on going to visit “my cask”. She presses her hand against the oak, traces the letters of her name, and grins as if it's the first time she’s seen it.
That small ritual taught me something.
Moments worth celebrating should not end with the celebration. They should be allowed to mature, deepen, and be enjoyed along the journey of time.
This is why Casks of Significance exists.
So you can give the people you love a way to mark the moments that matter.
With warmth,
Rickesh Kishnani
